Born and raised in New York City, Adam Rosner developed a deep-seated passion for medicine early on, setting the stage for a dedicated career in healthcare. Amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, he skillfully honed his skills and intensified his commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
His journey toward a career in optometry began through firsthand experiences, shadowing local practitioners such as Dr. Rachid Aouchiche, and achieving certification in an Ophthalmology Assistant Program under the guidance of Richard McCoy, LDO. He further refined his skills with practical training at Elmquest Eye Group, solidifying his dedication to the medical field. His educational foundation in Communications and Biology, obtained from the University of Miami, equipped him to enhance patient interactions and deepen his understanding of ocular health. His comprehensive academic and practical training in New York City bolstered his confidence to practice as a Doctor of Optometry to exacting standards.
His academic path was marked by a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami, where he pursued a major in Communications and a minor in Biology on a Pre-med track, followed by a Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry, graduating in 2023.
His practical experience is extensive, including 4th-year clinical rotations at SUNY College of Optometry at diverse sites such as Woodhull Medical Center, SUNY Advanced Care & East New York Eyecare, Omni Eye Services, and SUNY University Eye Center.
